These bonnets are made of materials that are as close to period as possible. These bonnets are all hand sewn, one at a time, with great attention to detail and authenticity. Not the bonnets that you see at the other Sutlers, these bonnets stand alone as some of the most authentic, and well made that are available anywhere.
Prices for Spoon Bonnets start at $65.00, a $65.00 bonnet would be a plain bonnet. Price increases with the amount of extras that you want added. The bonnet shown sold for $250.00, this bonnet was all silk, and the flowers were hand made.
The following pictures do not do justice to the true beauty and fine craftsmanship of my bonnets, but they will give you some idea as to how different they are from the others that you have seen
Bonnets are made to order ( your material ) . Keep in mind that because of the hand sewing an average bonnet takes from two to four weeks to make. That means that if you have a special event that you want your new bonnet for, give me as much advance notice as possible so that I have time to make the quality product that you want.
